Accommodation Policy

The Center Hotel Group's Accommodation Terms are as follows.

(Application of These Terms and Conditions)

Article 1:
The accommodation contract and related agreements made by this hotel shall be governed by these terms and conditions. For matters not specified in these terms and conditions, relevant laws and customary practices shall apply.

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the hotel may agree to special provisions that do not violate the intent of these terms, laws, or customary practices

(Refusal of Accommodation)

Article 2:
The hotel may refuse to accept accommodation in the following cases:

  • If the accommodation request does not comply with these terms.
  • If the hotel is fully booked and no rooms are available.
  • If it is recognized that the person seeking accommodation may engage in acts contrary to the provisions of laws or public order, or may act in a manner contrary to good morals.
  • If it is clear that the person seeking accommodation is infected with a contagious disease.
  • If special burdens are requested in connection with the accommodation.
  • If accommodation is not possible due to unavoidable reasons such as natural disasters or facility malfunctions.
  • If the guest or hotel user falls under any of the following:
    • (i) Members or affiliates of organized crime groups as defined by the "Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members" (Act No. 77 of 1991), or other antisocial forces.
    • (ii) A corporation or organization controlled by an organized crime group or its members.
    • (iii) A corporation whose board members include any member of an organized crime group.
  • If the person seeking accommodation is excessively intoxicated, causing a significant disturbance to other guests, or if the guest's behavior is causing a disturbance to others.
  • If the person seeking accommodation is a minor (under 18 years old), and in cases where they are alone or with other minors, if they fail to provide a "Consent Form" from a legal guardian.

(Disclosure of Personal Information)

Article 3:
If the hotel accepts an advance accommodation request (hereinafter referred to as "Accommodation Reservation"), it may set a deadline for the reservation applicant to disclose the following information:

  • The name, address, gender, nationality, and occupation of the guest.
  • Any other information deemed necessary by the hotel.

(Deposit for Reservation)

Article 4:
When the hotel accepts an accommodation reservation, it may request payment of a deposit, up to the cost of the accommodation for a maximum of three days.

  • The deposit paid under the preceding paragraph will be applied as compensation for breach of contract in accordance with Article 5, and any remaining amount will be refunded.

(Cancellation of Reservation)

Article 5:
If the reservation applicant cancels all or part of the accommodation reservation, the hotel will charge a cancellation fee as follows. However, if the cancellation is for a group (15 paying members or more), cancellations of up to 10% of the reserved number of guests (rounded up) made before 10 days prior to the accommodation date will not be subject to cancellation fees.

Cancellation Fee Policy:

  1. Individual Guests:

    • If cancellation is made the day before the accommodation date, 20% of the first night's accommodation fee will be charged per guest.
    • If cancellation is made on the accommodation date, 80% of the first night's accommodation fee will be charged per guest.
  2. Group Guests:

    • If cancellation is made between 9 and 2 days before the accommodation date, 10% of the first night's accommodation fee will be charged per guest.
    • If cancellation is made the day before the accommodation date, 20% of the first night's accommodation fee will be charged per guest.
    • If cancellation is made on the accommodation date, 80% of the first night's accommodation fee will be charged per guest.

If the guest fails to arrive by 9:00 PM on the accommodation date (or two hours after the designated arrival time, if specified in advance) without prior notice, the reservation may be deemed canceled by the applicant, and the reservation may be processed accordingly.

If the guest's failure to arrive without notice is due to delays or cancellations of public transportation (e.g., trains or airplanes), or for other reasons not attributable to the guest, no cancellation fee will be charged if the circumstances are proven.

(Cancellation by Hotel)

Article 6:
The hotel may cancel the accommodation reservation in the following cases:

  • If any of the circumstances specified in Article 2, Items 3 to 7, arise.
  • If the information specified in Article 3, Item 1, is not disclosed by the deadline.
  • If the deposit specified in Article 4, Item 1, is not paid by the deadline.

If the hotel cancels the reservation under the preceding paragraph, any deposit already paid will be refunded.

(Registration Upon Check-in)

Article 7:
Guests are required to register the following information at the hotel’s front desk on the accommodation date:

  • The information specified in Article 3, Item 1.
  • For foreign guests, passport number, place of entry, and date of entry into Japan.
    • Departure date and time.
    • Any other information deemed necessary by the hotel.

(Check-out Time)

Article 8:
The check-out time is 10:00 AM.

The hotel may allow guests to extend their stay beyond the check-out time. In such cases, the following additional charges will apply:

  • Until 1:00 PM: 30% of the room rate.
  • Until 3:00 PM: 50% of the room rate.
  • After 3:00 PM: The full room rate.

(Payment of Fees)

Article 9:
Payment of fees shall be made in cash or by credit card at the front desk upon check-in or when requested by the hotel. The hotel does not accept traveler’s checks or personal checks.

Even if the guest voluntarily chooses not to stay after beginning to use the room, accommodation fees will still be charged.

(Compliance with Hotel Regulations)

Article 10:
Guests must comply with the hotel's rules and regulations, which are posted within the hotel.

(Refusal of Continued Stay)

Article 11:
Even during the accommodation period, the hotel may refuse to allow the guest to continue staying in the following cases:

  • If the guest falls under any of the conditions specified in Article 2, Items 3 to 7.
  • If the guest does not comply with the hotel’s rules and regulations.

(Hotel's Responsibility)

Article 12:
The hotel's liability for accommodation begins when the guest registers at the front desk or when the guest enters the room, whichever is earlier, and ends when the guest vacates the room upon departure.

If the hotel cannot provide the guest with the reserved room due to reasons attributable to the hotel, the hotel will arrange similar accommodation at another facility unless prevented by natural disasters or other unavoidable reasons. In such cases, the hotel will not charge for the guest’s accommodation, including any nights affected by the unavailability of the room.
