— Naritasan Shinshoji Temple

It is a temple of the Chizan school of Shingon Buddhism located in Narita City, Chiba Prefecture, and is one of the main temples of the school. The main deity is Fudo Myoo. It is one of the most famous temples in the Kanto region, and many visitors come to pray for safety in the home and on the road. It is one of the temples dedicated to the belief in Fudo Myoo, and is commonly referred to as “Narita Fudo” or simply “Naritasan.

— Aviation Science Museum

Japan's first museum specializing in aviation is located in Shibayama-cho, Yamatake-gun, Chiba Prefecture, adjacent to Narita International Airport. On display are a full-scale replica of the YS-11 prototype 1, a full-scale replica of the Henri Farman biplane, a DC-8 flight simulator, a full-scale mockup of the cabin of a Boeing 747, a model of Narita Airport, etc. On the 4th floor is an observatory restaurant offering a panoramic view of Narita Airport.

— Experience Museum Boso no Mura

Visitors can experience the life and culture of the people of Boso from the primitive and ancient times to the late Edo period and early Meiji period. In addition to ancient tombs scattered throughout the 56-hectare site, farmhouses, samurai residences, and merchant rows have been recreated, and the simple, old-fashioned buildings are full of emotion. Originally, it was a dairy farm specializing in dairy farming. It opened as a tourist farm in 1987. It raises a large number of animals, including cows and goats, and manufactures and sells milk, yogurt, and other dairy products, as well as cheesecakes and other sweets. The dairy farm also offers various hands-on classes such as horseback riding, milking, and butter making, as well as seasonal activities such as digging for potatoes and picking strawberries, making it possible to enjoy the farm all year round.

— Nagomi no Yoneya Sohonten

Since its establishment in 1899 (Meiji 32) of the famous chestnut yokan on the front sidewalk of Narita-san, the company's most popular confections have been chestnut yokan (1zao, 1575 yen), chestnut steamed yokan (1zao, 735 yen and up), and peanut-shaped peanut monaka (8 pieces, 1,050 yen). The Narita Yokan Museum is located on the premises (admission free; hours: 10:00-16:00; open daily).

Chomeisen” is a local sake made in Narita City from high quality water. The brewery was inspired by the quality of the water during a visit to Narita-san at the end of the Edo period. It is the only locally brewed sake made with Narita's underground water and is recommended as a Narita souvenir.

The port opened in May 1978. With more than 250 daily flights and 34 million passengers annually, it is the gateway to Japan, boasting one of the highest passenger volumes in the world. There are two passenger terminals, No. 1 and No. 2, with approximately 300 stores and restaurants. Visitors can watch airplanes departing and arriving from the observation deck.
